These twelve brilliant, buttery-soft large crayons from Japan are made to color safely on just about any surface, then easily erased with water. They work great on windows, mirrors and even paper. The large size makes them easy for little hands to grasp.

Add a few strokes of a wet brush and your children's window drawings bloom forth as life-size watercolors!

A totally new kind of crayon doesn't come along too often, but Kitpas Art Crayons are game changers. The company has been innovating since 1937, when they began producing dustless chalk for Japanese schools. Forty years later they developed a process to recycle scallop shells as fine chalk.

The art crayons came along in 2005. Today 70% of the company's workforce is intellectually disabled; to better accommodate these hardworking employees, the company's two factories have replaced all their clocks with hourglasses.

You can use any watercolor brush with the crayons, but we recommend the easy-to-use , which holds its own reservoir of water.
